Cannot inderstand the idea of guest writing for writers. Though only if it is possible to advertise your own blog in that way.

All my focus right now is to make it an authority blog, with lots of very strong white hat backlinks and the best quality content possible, so monetization is not a priority now.

The point is to gain more 'follow' links to your own site from another high-ranking page blog, in turn increasing your ranking and authority for your chosen keywords.
The owner of that blog also benefits by always having fresh content, and not having to sit around writing articles all day.

I can see this blog has started just an yr back and it has a PR 6. Thats an impressive journey. Would you mind sharing your experiences on how you made that. I'm also just wondering is this PR 6 possible with only Wordpress or can be achieved with Blogger too. As i want to start off with blogger as a platform now as i'm comfortable with it rather than wordpress. May be i will migrate later. Your thoughts ?

 

ok. So i shot off my first post. Started working on a second, and as i finished that, i went to check for the first one on Google, and there was an email to let me know it was indexed in less than 2 minutes. Wow. I wrote an email to say it was amazing, and by the time i'd written that (less than 2 minutes), the second one has been indexed.

Amazing is an understatement, this man is awesomePlus.

Sorry, but I don't think you think in the right perspective. When postin on someone elses blog you got his audience to read your content, that way you have a chance to expand your readers (if they liked what you wrote they will visit your blog through the link you put in your post).

Additionally, you also get backlinks to your blog which should boost your SEO.

Anyway, PR has nothing to do with the platform you are using or any other on-site factor, PR is derived only from the quality and quantity of backlinks your site is getting, for high PR you will need several quality backlinks (other high PR sites linking to you).

Nop, you have one link from your profile, but that's just a url, no anchor text.

But you can put 2 links in EACH of your posts, so basically you can have as many link as you like - just create many posts (of course with unique and high quality content).

You can write about any subject as long as its legal and not in the porn/gambling niche.
If you are accepted as a writer you have full access to create categories (if they don't exist) for your niche.
