I m not that you re in the right section.. though directories is a fine way to increase your PR.. but of course you will need to spend money
lol well first post in the right section! from what ive heard - through directories, links and unique content... but im still sitting on PR 0 so im not 100% sure lol
PR is not important , as long as ou got a unique keyword then as it is type in google , ur site will be listed number one... like mine , i am PR 0 , but when you type this certain "keyword" im listed number one....
You need to work hard for it ; First try to link it with around 300 sites providing free links ( one way links) If you mange to do that you will see that during next PR revision u will atleast get a PR 2 Have patience and work continously on link building to increase ur PR.
Keep working hard on getting back links and try and keep your site changing with new original content
Good and a huge number of ibls (links to your site) will get you a good PR and if you use the corect anchor texts good ranking Good luck
Write some articles on your main keyword and submit them to the search engines, I got a PR 4 with this alone on 1 site
Basic concept is: build quality content and build links from quality sites with established PR (the pages themselves).Overtime, your page rank will increase. But you have to wait for Google to do their updates. The other thing is to read as much as you can on the subject and try to decern truth from fiction. Thats no so easy.... I'll give you a hint 90% of what you read is fiction. -Peace
