Which is more important backlink from high PR home page or high PR page?

    Hi,

    Any guys can tell me that which is more important backlinks from high PR website or from high PR page?

    Some one told me "the Page Rank of the website is important than the Page Rank of the Page. As your back Links comes from the High PR website that means Google gives more authority to your website. Because you are linked to High PR website."

    Is he right or not?

    Which is more important backlink from high PR home page or high PR page?

    Till n untill the page is not highly relevant to your website or page u want to get linked, High PR Home Page or High PR Page is Useless!!

    BTW - High PR Page and The Homepage they will be treated equally! :)

    It actually depends on the niche of the site or page, you are posting your link. Then it depends if the homepage link is a blogroll link or just the homepage link. If its the blogroll link, you will get all the pages with PR which the site has, which is also called a sitewide link. However if its just the homepage link, then there is no difference between the homepage link and any other single page link.

    It also depends on what type of link you are getting, for example is it a link exchange or a one way link. One way links are more stronger than the exchanges. And at last you have to check, how many out going links are present on the page. Less outgoing links are better for the quality of your site's backlink.

    Back link from a high PR page ultimately means Website's PR will also be high. so, i will suggest you to go for a high PR page instead of a high PR domain.

    I would say its better to get a backlink from high PR page

    and as explained above: getting a blogroll back link is 100 times better then a single homepage link

    Blogroll link will assure that you are getting a backlink from all the pages of that particular site

    Always keep in mind to get backlinks from good neighbor and the niche should be relevant too in order to boost PR

    Ya if you get blogroll links then its very beneficial because your link is visible in all pages of website, so your website will get more boost up through blogroll links..
