Does it Google penalization, do you have copied content or you submitted your websites to any wrong directories or website..
no i havent submitted my site to any directories till now.....i just copied one article last night...actually other admin did that....but we nofollowed and noindexed it....:/infact it was only the second article we copied ......:/
i don't know if Google can detect that in a matter of hours, but if they did that might be the result of the copied content. Are there any changes in your ways of getting baclinks? maybe that's one too..
your site still index by google.. so i guess its normal.. besides your site is still new so you can't expect regular traffic or rankings..
I agree with saqib889... it can be the Panda update that cause your traffic breakdown. Resubmit your site map. Check with you team... if there is any extra changes that have been made to the website. Check your keyword position in Google... which keywords had lost their position. The Panda update has shuffled the positions intensely.
Are you serious? Your site is still new, why are you worrying about SEO? And plus you can't expect to keep your rankings do you? Your content isn't unique is it? Are you building fresh links to your site? Or are you not building links at all? Are you just looking for a quick way to get ranked on Google? Well, guess what, its not possible. I don't see why its such a concern - your search queries can be higher or lower on different days - it all depends on your backlinks - and what keywords you rank for. His traffic just went down overnight - how would the Panda update have any effect on this? Only if his site has non-unique content and the search engines don't find his site exciting for users.
thanks a lot for replying sir...sir my content is unique except an article or two...but sir the problem is direct traffic also dropped from 110-120 to 9....:/ + traffic from referring sites also dropped from 70 odd to 25...i mean i can agree with google traffic going down but how in the world can direct traffic suffer so much..i myself interacted with 10-11 people on the forum....could something be possibly wrong with google analytics ? i m so confused :/ what do i need to do now :/
just to add sir..i havent dropped my position for the keywords i rank......not even by 1...i m so confused :/ and regardign backlnks.i have been doing them and i have ok enuf backlinks...and i m not using any softwares or anything of that sort that is blackhat..
Pretty common to drop a few months after a new site is launched. Make sure your content is unique, your pages have proper SEO, and keep building consistent backlinks from different sources. (Articles, link exchanges, commenting, profiles, whatever. Just mix it up.)
Well that's a mystery..but it has nothing to do with that article you posted..sometimes it can just be a pike in ranking and the next day your in the sandbox..
hmm had a sigh of relief.just a bit though as traffic was 505 today......search engine traffic rose to 236 comppared to 145 last night so a bit better anyways i shud search for things apart from g analytics also......
It was just because ur site was in Sandbox ... and Just because u added 2 much content in the begining .. keep adding some good copyscape passed content and u will get traffic back!
Better than redirecting. I 301 redirected a 15k visitors a day site to a 2k visitors a day site. Now I have 5k visitors a day between them ... google completely dropped the redirected one from the SERPs, which sort of defeats the purpose of a redirect if you ask me. Waiting waiting waiting for this to even out. Anything you do takes soooo long to work its way into Google ...
i m not so sure about sandbox...coz i m still ranking among top 10 for certain keytwords and i havent dropped positions....google analytics is going nuts i suppose ://
First a quick advice, dear deepanshusethi, try using the muti-quote option in this thread by replying or commenting everyone's post like ForgottenCreature I also agree with ForgottenCreature. First your site is new, two and half months is very less time to check the results or do anything in regards to SEO. Most of the new sites are even ranked on the first page because of their status and content. However gradually after every week or so, the rank of these 'new' sites or blogs drops according to the amount of work done. Its just like you put a new grape in a bottle filled with other grapes and this new grape will slowly and steadily get squeezed and will drop down at the bottom depending on its strength to hold for long lol !!!! Hope this example is correct So dont worry about your stats right now, but just keep building your backlinks and SEO, you can compare the stats after 6-8 months.
the user of your site is suddenly dropped, but i think google is not responsible because when the number of user 624 only 400+ user derived from google, and when your users are200+ the 150+ derived from google. So you can't responsible Google for this decline. You should check your settings.
