No, not unless they offer some new big feature that we can not live without. Supposedly, that will be Circles' ability to automatically determine how close our relationships are with others and to then share content accordingly. If they can do that, maybe it stands a chance. But, I'm not convinced that a bunch of Google geeks can design an attractive enough interface to bring the 'young' crowd into the fold.
Google is too late at social media. Why do I leave facebook for google circles? Are there any reason for this. I think there is none
If they come up with something new, they can beat facebook, anyway, i don't understand why they are trying to get to everything. They should have remain a simple search engine, that works very well, and has a friendly interface. But now, they, also had to create a payment method, google maps, and now this, google circle. I think i will remain on facebook.
I think it will..because they been able to see how facebook work and now its time to jump in..but stay tune
Google tried to fight facebook with google buzz and that's not as big as it should be. Exactly - like real time chat, and being able to see everything being posted in keywords searches as well. That will never happen, Facebook is trying to compete and beat google - how would this happen? Why do you think it would be better for google to own facebook?
i think facebook will not sell it .google should create a attractive social media all around us which should be much better than facebook , i think this work is already started who knows ?
I don't think they'll focus on social networking to the point where they are looking to compete with fb. However, it will be interesting to see which entity thrives in the coming years/decades.
yes i think that google has no apacity to buy facebook fb is trying to beat google google has to creat his own social site if google wants to beat fb
Google is trying to produce social results on web page in near future ...i guess it will end in failure
No one can beat Facebook .if Google want to beat Facebook should try something different from Facebook
Definitely too late. Hundreds of millions of people already have a Facebook account, why would they bother to make another account on Google's Circle. An interesting slide regarding social circles I received this morning: slideshare.net/padday/the-real-life-social-network-v2
