I guess this is why Facebook is better than Twitter? I think it's important to recognise that they're very different platforms and shouldn't be viewed as having the same benefits. IT's true that Twitter has fewer benefits, but in terms of things like news going viral, special offers to customers etc it's a fantastic platform. Though to be honest as those benefits aren't applicable to my business I don't use it, I can still see the potential benefits of the platform

You did not include the most important thing which is why I guess, facebook is better than Twitter is images/pictures. On facebook, we can upload pictures of whatever happened in our social life and even play games and participate in some events ;)

While it is not 'apples to oranges' it is still close.

for business and news, i prefer Twitter. For friends and socialization (big myth), Facebook is better I guess.

I only use Twitter thought, and FB just doesn't appeal to me.

Facebook and twitter can be used in conjunction with one another to create an innovative promotion campaign. Social media can be a great tool for communicating with your customers.

I also prefer Twitter. Facebook takes too much time for everything, it has like thousands of options and you can never find how to delete an application that simply installed itself without you wanting it :(
