I think it's name is axyl. I remember learning about them about 30 years ago in high school. I thought they were extinct!!!
This is one of my four cats. He's lived with us since the day he was born, and we still have both of his parents. His name is Horoedipus, but we always call him Puss. He's a weird little mut.
Axolotls are only found in Lake Xochimilco and Lake Chalco in Mexico and are now considered an endangered species.
umm, that's pretty crazy then. how much do you have to pay for one? And wouldn't you feel awful if it died?!
Is it legal to own an edangered specie? Imagine someone tried to take your Axolotls from you? That would be mean but I'm sure it happens. I didn't even know an Axolotls existed, so I certainly didn't know it was endangered... I'm going to look that up out of pure curiousity now
Just to clarify, they are considered an endangered species, however, large numbers of the Axolotl are bred each year for use in laboratories and many keep them as pets. In other words, they are only endangered in the wild.
Wow what a cute bunny! Now my daughter wants one. Will it grow ay bigger? Well, it didn't have a name until you asked. I asked my daughter what she named it and she hadn't named it yet. So, she decided to call it Gilly.
ok, not mine - but I almost (ROFL)'ed today when I saw this. show of hands? who tortures their pets in this fashion
::shyly raises hand:: I think I may be worse than you... and I have a big "tough" looking dog, lol. Granted he's not tough at all, he's a wiggle butt. But when people see a 65lbs. American Pit Bull Terrier walking around in a fake shearling coat... you bet they laugh their a$$es off. Especially if there is snow on the ground and he has his booties on too. He has more clothes than me.
