In link building we are seeing more directories & bookmarking sites with .info domain extension. Is it helps in link building? I came to know most of the .info sites are same IP. It seems getting links from same class c will give a only one back link. Give me the solution for this.
The domain extension doesn't matter. Anyone who tells you otherwise has absolutely no idea what they're talking about.
^ Yes, the domain extension should not be your basis in determining the quality of a site. You should look on the quality of its content, how it is optimized and how it links to other sites.
Some folks believe that bing treats .info differently than other gTLD's, but I haven't seen any evidence to prove it. I think it's a myth.
When you google "page rank", you'll see a .info domain in the first page. And It don't seem to look worthless.
Very Rt Domain Extension Does Not Matter:"Important Thing is that Domain Name Must be Keyword Rich" Even I have Seen Blogspot Websites With 100000 Unique Visitors Per Day
It's does not matter weather you have .com or .net or .info domain. but Google give some priority to .edu , .mil, .gov . These domain are know as authority site.
First is hard to use SEARCH funtion ////// multiple threads about .info and SEO Secondly NO IT DOESN'T MATHER TLD DOESN'T MATHER IN SEO
I don't really believe .info domains are useless. If your website has quality content, it can even beat a .com domain
.info's from the same IP address??? who told you that garbage. Yes if you link to a load of directories coming from the same ip address that happen to be .info's then I know what you mean, but thats got nothing to do with it being a .info.
The top level domain matters not at all. if I were to obtain a free .cc domain, it could still potentially rank alongside a .co.uk or a .com or a .info, all dependant upon the multitude of variables which search engines use to rank a website. So no, a .info does not hold any more or less worth then any other kind of TLD.
.info is a fine TLD. The only thing I would watch out for are country specific TLD's, as google has been known to factor such extensions differently. I have several .info domains ranking well.
That is not true, Yeah your thinking is correct. But your can find many .info domain in top search engine results. So do not worried about it. just keep continue working on site. Enjoy.
