How to keep promote our sites?

I have came to a place where I have done all the promotion but still not really see consistent result, anyone here know what I have missed out? Please help if you know the answer. Thanks

 

well its hard to say without knowing what you have done...if you have done everything you should be at the top of the game right now but obviouslyyou have not so fill us in on what you have already done

 

What types of promotion have you done so far, and what specifically was the result you got? Did you get traffic but no sales? Did you get no sales or traffic? Need more information in order to give an informed answer.

 

What niche are you promoting? Maybe the search volume is low.

 

Use social media and advertising like Adwords if you can afford it.

 

Are you doing weight loss or free recipes? Please be specifics and maybe tell us a bit what marketing strategies or promotions you have done so far to the site.

 

I am referring to contents site with Adsense on it. Below are the steps that I am doing all these while:
1) Submit articles on a weekly basis
2) Writing Blog

Just wonder how long I need to do that? Any idea?

What are you selling and who are your customers? If you're just selling products then you should have an online store or post them on some free websites like 123exchanges.com, craigslist.org, oodle.com

It's really hard to say... Just like everyone has said, the amount and type of promotion needed on a consistent basis to get the results you are seeking depends on the market.

I think the advice I'm going to share with you now can be used in just about any market though.

First, never stop building links. Obviously, the higher quality links you build, the better your rankings in the search engines will be. Every month, you should aim to get a few edu/gov links, submit a few press releases, and submit a few articles to the higher-quality directories. This will ensure that you are getting very high quality links.

Other than the "never stop building links" advice, try social media. If you don't want to build a social media presence, head to fiverr, and find a few gigs that blast out messages to their twitter followers. For $5, you can get your message in front of 10,000+ followers from the service providers twitter account. If even one of those followers is drawn to your promotion, it was probably worth the 5 bucks you spend. There are similar services on Fiverr that can also get your message/promotion in front of lots of eyes.

 

Are you sure you had not made a mistake? I think you're making a mistake or there might be a problem in your On-page optimization otherwise if you've done almost everything and if you're doing it since a long time then you must be on top. Check the quality of your work.

 

Have you ever tried with Adwords? Try to use adwords to get more useful traffic. You will definitely get more visitors.

 

When did you made website, google gives rank after a fixed times i think, check that policy.

 

Forum is great place for promotion but you should the proper way to promote your products in forums, if you don't contribute in the forum you may not gain much.
