I know there are many domain-savvy members on these boards. What's worth more, a two letter .net or a three letter .com? BTW, what's the going rate for each of these domain types?
Shorter domain names are more valuable because they are going to be on demand in the future. People today are struggling to get such a short domain name... imagine the future with all these new gTLDs that are more then 3 characters long ! I prefer global ccTLDs like LL.TV/LL.CO/LL.ME then LL.NET tho cause there is going to be more gTLDs with 3 characters long such as .XXX .ART .CAR ...ect while global ccTLDs like .CO/.TV/.ME will always be the shortest global TLDs in existence.
It really doesn't matter what the extention is. What's more important is to have a descriptive and short domain name as possible.
Yes,LL.net is much more worth than LLL.com.Two letter domain has more price than Three letter domain names
A two letter domain is also easier to remember than an LLL.com - and not to mention the brand, and domain worth is higher with two letter domains.
ll.net Alexa Traffic Rank: 2,831,041 Traffic Rank in US: 636,211 lll.com Alexa Traffic Rank: 21,085,064 Traffic Rank in US: no data so lll.net is better
if we say about any random letters, ll.net is valuable as they are rarer. But when it comes to keyword value and relevance, lll.com may boost up their value as in sex.com
Just some random samples : vq.net and vwq.com => i choose vq.net vq.net and abc.com => i choose abc.com
pretty much sums up quality factors vs extension genre good quality - short domains with memorable characteristics normally receive more attention in the market place. ROOFIS
