    Hello,

I have a blog related to Insurances.

The average costs per click for an insurance add is around $6,- .

Can someone please tell me why I'm getting paid around $1,- per click ??

I'ts not even close to what Adwords is saying ...

Insurance is a broad niche and very competitive as well.
-- Both sides - adword users and people who try to make money with adSense (it is a double edged sword)

At the same time we never know what kids of ads google is allotting/showing on your site.

some times the authority of your site will have an impact..

But of all you can try Google Still pay more - don't try fooling around or getting google mad at you.

$1 is great for god's sake! $6 is rare.. Imagine you are the advertiser, what do you expect with $6/click advertisement budget?

I would be happy just to get $0.5 per click, but thousand of them, rather than just 1 click of 6$

You are still getting very much good click through rate, as $1 is good as well.

You're probably subject to SmartPricing as well. Over time if your site converts well that'll drive up your payment per click.

    Thank you.

Guys I am not complaining :)
And when someone isn't complaining, there is no reason to sue anyone.

    At Project Mobius:

You have posted 3 posts in this topic, and all of them were garbage :) !
The reason why DP is garbage is because of people like you don't provide usefull content ^_^

I was just asking a simple question,,,

Perhaps I should use the search option the next time,,,
And perhaps you should stop posting useless comments.

( I have been reading some other topics aswell, and the funny thing is, you always post something rediculously useless :) )

Guys, I know the answer on my questios, thank you!

Having advertised lots of insurance through AdWords, I can tell you most of the time I paid less than $1 / click on the content network.

The $6 is an estimate they give new advertisers for how much they'll pay to break into the market ON SEARCH and start getting traffic. With quality score factored in it's easy to get that down to $1 or so for search, and the content network provides much lower quality traffic so you bid less on there.
