Google for dofollow blog list... There you will find list of do follow blogs. Comment on those blogs and you will get backlinks. Have some patience... I have got some backlinks to my blog TW from do follow blogs itself.
The results wont come up for Facebook or twitter that quick. besides even if it does that's only 2 backlinks. I got my backlinks and traffic form niche forums. Those same people added them selves as a Facebook Fan and it just continues that way. As of now I have 380 back links as per yahoo. And considering my site has been up for 42 days, that's not bad at all I would say.
To find Dofollow blogs, use this search engine http://www.inlineseo.com/dofollowdiver/ and simply type in what topic u want then thats it.
