The earthquake and tsunami is really so sad causing damages to lives and properties. I hope and Pray that God sees them through it.

Yep, it's terrible. I hope Japan gets as much help as possible. I'm talking to you William Hague.

maybe you have to describe the organization who will receive the donations or it will consider as a scam... as we all know everybody can create a blog like yours in minutes and put the same donations link like yours, but we dont know where the donations goes to... sorry to say :)

It is not an organisaton. It is a good friend of mine who lives in the same prefecture. That is it. The money goes to his account and then to Fr.Yamamoto whom you can see in the picture on the site. I told him that not many people can read kanji and something more than a photo is needed, but well... Maybe later he will add it.

One correction - it is not my blog. =) I was asked to spread the word where I could. This is just one forum here. I guess it makes me a spammer, too...

Anyway, he said there was a professional photographer there when he took the picture of Fr.Yamamoto. I will have him put those pics on the site. If he is not too shy, maybe we can see him in them, too. Well, I have seen him many times, I am not interested.=)

As I mentioned above, we leave in Fukuoka. It was affected by the earthquake and tsunamis the least. So far. And in the photo it is a Catholic Church in Kitakyushu, if I am not mistaken.

And yes, thank you for your help, everyone. Even though it is pretty far from me, I can still feel everyone's pain. It is difficult not to when your wife is watching news 24/7. And it is good to know the world still has people capable of compassion towards those they do not know and never will.

At least other countries are going in to help, Britain has just announced that sending in loads of people and resources to aid the Japanese people. Hopefully a lot of countries will follow.

I've heard 45 countries (about 25% of all countries) are ready to send whatever help they can. Let's hope that they get all the help they need and want.

I wonder what the science is about behind earthquakes, if we are advanced enough to predict when and where they will happen yet

Wow! It's terrible to see the picture after the disaster. Tsunami has swept away the cars, planes and all other things.

I'm sure the US will help out. That's what we do while people hate us.
