First time ranking in top 10 in SERPS

I know that there are a few things that make this milestone for myself not so great...but I wanted to share anyway.
#1 its in MSN
#2 the keyword isnt searched THAT often.

Today while checking where my traffic was coming from on a few of my sites. I noticed some coming from MSN. I followed this to find that I am ranked #3 for my top keyword.

 

Oddly enough the same site has yet to be indexed by Google :S

 

Hi, Great to hear that your website is on top of your keywords and you will not be surprised when i say i get MSN rankings pretty fast too. I also encountered same problem with a domain where it was well ranked in MSN / Yahoo but it wasnt even in first 20 pages of google for the same keywords. Google is the most confusing search engine in my opinion.

 

I am not even listed in google at all. Thats the confusing part.

 

i hope MSN wont rank you for a few months and then jump on it again. but anwyays..congratulations.

haha not really.

 

MSN is easy to get high rankings for; but the traffic is very low.

 

How long does it take to get listed on google? month? 2?

 

to get indexed? You can get in in less than 24 hours most times.

 

one of my sites got listed on google in a few days.
