I'd appreciate it if you could take a couple of minutes to review "The Product Forum"

    Hello folks,

The Product Forum is around 9 weeks old now, in that time we have developed our forums and blogs to a level we are happy with given the time frame.

However - We want to continue to expand and grow and want to really attract a growing audience of adult 20-40 year olds (but not limited to these) and would like some feedback on ways that we could do this please.

Please take a look at the following

    • Forums and descriptions
    • Blogs
    • Home Page
    • Ad' Placement

Lastly, what would make you join us @
    http://www.productforum.info/forums/forum.php

Obviously feel free to give feedback anything else you feel is relevant. I would really appreciate a couple of minutes of your time to help us improve and grow.

    JPM

    Looks good...

But why would someone "join" to review something if they are "looking for a review"?

I think you are faced with a "catch 22" there my friend!

That's true to a point, but the community is built, as are most - on people helping one another.

We also have a Promotion forum, where by after 15 posts you can promote your own site or forum.

I'm going to disagree with that, if you can market the site properly (which it looks like you are) you will get reviewers and people looking for reviews. I just feel the lack of consistency across the site for it's design is a little confusing. That's just me though. I like to see designs constantly used across a site. Though that's just my opinion.

Would you mind expanding a little on your design comments? We are looking at this currently so any more detail would be brilliant.

Would you suggest any ways of marketing out forum?

Do you mean the home page being different from the blogs and forum?

personally, there's nothing that would make me join your site. As i just don't have time to either write reviews or read reviews. Though the lack of design consistency would make me think twice in choosing your site over one of your competitors.

Making a forum is not a tough one. But making the people join there takes you the power to sustain. According to me, you need to put lot of articles around internet about your forum to make people join.

    nice forum,
for ads placement, why you only placing 468x60 px ads in the top of forum page? you have other option such as 728x90 px for wider ads, because there are a wider area, and I think it is better to choosing non-rounded corner ads style

    *sorry for my bad english
    regards
