Multiple backlinks from the same page with different anchor text - is it effective? Let's say I have a possibility to place a backlink on the webpage and the quantity of pages with high PR is limited. Also I have several targeted keywords, will it have a good effect if I place 2 backlinks with different anchor text to the same page of my website from one page (page, not website)?
I may be wrong, but I believe that search engines only take into account just one link per page (per destination URL). This is regardless of the anchor text being different if the destination URL is the same. Sorry mate, I wish it was possible to get 543879345987 different anchored links on the same high PR page, but it wont work Only thing you can do is create a new destination URL, or link from a different page.
I would limit yourself to two. Honestly, it doesn't matter how many you put because it's all from the same IP, so Google will only count it as one link. Either way, just put two.
for this case I ever tried.I put two archor text to the same page. and the results are not encouraging.I tried it with my text arhor put on different pages in one web. result is better than putting two archor text on same page
Of course multiple back link is good for a website. Because it vary like sometimes com, net, http, org etc. It's build your site properly.
