Here's a thought: Go...to...their...site. Yeah, I think it is official, most of this site's members are probably dumbasses.
(PhilipR wrote) ...........But a lot of morons join without thinking. They probably get burned, and then probably bitch about losing their money. heh heh >>> My observations so far is this. I specifically just joined this forum in order to post a thread and ask about Wealthy Affiliate to see if I could find anything bad. And I have not (yet). This thread has posts of people saying they didn't use the tools to their full extent. The hypothetical accusation by PhilipR is straight speculation. Is that the worst bashing they get is a hypothetical. Can't anyone say "It's a total rip off" ? I am trying to make sure I get started with the right hamburger helper program. I have not joined yet but what the hell do you have to risk but one month for $30-$40 or what ever it is. As far as people plugging it here and there because they are affiliates of it who cars if the product is good and they may by promoting it because they want to give credit where credit is due. There are enough rip offs out there so we have all avoid the gang mentally of bashing one that really could have value and I think it might. The big advantage seems to be that they bring all the tools together under one roof and one control panel. I like that. But I am still learning about it before stating. I don't want to get wrapped up on it without it producing something. I'm working on staying focuses first before throwing the switch with my ADD. Does everyone have ADD or is it just me ?
I have read their stuff - not worth the money! The only people getting wealthy - are the two of them!!!
I was drawn to this thread because I misread the question as "Is Anyone Here a Wealthy Affiliate" - very different thing, chances are far fewer on here that could say that! I will look at the Wealthy Affiliate site though, thanks.
I used to be a member and found them helpful. A lot of months people signed up under me and my membership was paid for. I may join again in the future. Like a previous poster said It's more than Kyle and Carson although they give good advice the forum members get pretty detailed about ways to make money on the web.
I used to be with them when it cost $47 a month then they bumped it up to $97 a month. Honestly that site is not worth that amount each month. All of the info you pay for on that site you can find for free on this forum or other free websites. Their website builder is a joke and so is their hosting. When I first joined them I thought they were the greatest thing since sliced bread but after a few months I realized that they were just draining money from me and on top of that I rarely logged on. Most of their info is average, because they mostly focus on article marketing. Their PPC doesn't go very in depth and they do not talk about CPA. You are better off saving your $97 a month and put it towards your website/s. All the info you need you can find on forums. Just ask if you need help or advice.
SSportsfan- Thank you for writing some specifics and not just saying "it's junk. The end". That's what I was looking and hoping for. I'm breaking down your post but not trying to rag on it. Deciding on what resources to use is major step for me at this time since I've done my "boot camp" reading on how to attack and now I need to pick out my army gear and get suited up. So thanks for this thread even though I didn't stat it. I am not a member or an affiliate (yet) but am probably going to join today. They have two plans. One is $50 and the other $97. The $50 is just as good. We can find the tools and info but will we ? By bringing a half dozen tools together in one place some people will find this more convenient and use the available tools more. I like not having to have a half dozen tabs and different tools open and being able to save my results in one central place. If I outgrow it one day I can always quit. My first car was not what I can afford now but it got my back and forth to work and kick started. I know I sound like I'm selling but what I really want to see is someone give a valid reason to avoid it so I don't make a bad decision. Not the money, I just don't need the distraction if it's no good. I'm really glad I found this thread because I'm more convinced now it's worth my time to try it. I can't agree because I haven't tried it but I saw a very honest review from an affilate (video review) and he said that the builder was the one main thing he would toss out. That it was indeed junk. It's just a typical template builder. But for some newbies this gives them a chance to crawl before they walk. I won't use it. That's what I'm afraid of. I have bought so much software that I never implemented. And that's why I want to make sure I'm going to use it. It's not the money, it's the time that is valuable if your not working with the right tools. Some of the tools stand alone counterparts may be a bit more robust that we would find outside of W.A. but this seems to me like a good way to learn the ropes and honestly I don't think I'm going to outgrow it but time will tell. I'll throw out something else. There's a section they have where they have researched hot topics (or products) and done all the research and provide a "business in the box" (my own characterization) for these products. I don't know if they are upfront about it or not but I think it is no secret that they are being those particular products. But again I say "What is wrong with that?" if they are actually profitable and work. So this particular component is not under handed if it's a legit product. They are making the tools available (for a price yes) to make their affiliates more successful and even if you just use these as a starter or practice affiliate it can be considered going to school. Some people pay for college when they can read the same books for free. But they need direction and discipline and a hand up. I don't like to think of myself as having a "heard mentality" but the fact is I'm reading and researching and not enough "doing" and I need to put something under my belt to gain confidence and build on. I'm going to join the $50 program at the advise of the affiliate that gave the honest review. Your right about the info being out there if we look. It's the convenience I'm paying for. Not anything proprietary. A gallon of milk is more expensive at 7-11 but I stop and buy it because I don't want to walk all the way to the back of Publix to find it. I would really like to have some PM's with any Wealthy Affilates that also use ODesk as I'm trying to develope a good 1-2 punch system. W.A. has a forum that I read is good so I'll probably have to join and find what I'm after there. I would like to sign up under an affilate that offers extra's like one on one coaching for questions and brainstorming here and there so. I'm going to try some search strings like "Wealthy Affiliate Mentor" or similar. Suggestions wanted but it sounds like most of the member have "been there done that". I think some of you are not giving enough credit for that tool being a worth while "stepping stone" worthy of honorable mention. Everyone is at a different level and has their own "system" that works for them. I just hope I use it. I would also like to know if anyone has any other compilation of tools or subscription only sites such as this example we've been talking about to recommend. It doesn't have to be affiliate related. I'm interested in advise and recommendations and I don't mind paying for software or membership if it's worth a try. Information sharing. That's what I came for. Suggestions wanted and appreciated and anyone drawn to this thread on W.A. might know about others I would like. So thank you if you can help.
Wealthy Affiliate rocks...my friend went to Vegas to see them a few weeks ago and he said they are the most ethical folks around. I personally love their Wordpress Express tool which really allows anyone to churn optimised sites within a few clicks. Any questions sure let me know Jack
I was really keen on Wealth Affiliate and might still be. But now I have a new pessimistic question. There are so many youtube videos from affiliates promoting it. I have watched a lot of them. Most of them seem very sincere and "low hype" and keeping it real. But today it dawned on me that not one of those people pitching it have pointed to a singe business that they use Wealthy Affiliate for to make them money. They are just talking about how much potential WA has for MY business or web initiatives. How come not one person sites an example for us ? I have by no means looked at all of them so probably missed some but how many of these people are making their living using the products features to feed on itself. I mean it's sort of genius (assuming I'm on the right track here). How genius is it if these guys created this Wealthy Affiliate program and managed to draw people to their "Web" (as in www) and have them use the marketing system to fuel and feed sales of the very product ? Now, having said that, it is very possible that there are others that are using it to run their own enterprises and we don't hear from them because they are in bliss making money (more money) than they otherwise would spending time to sell Wealthy Affiliate. In order to get to that answer I'll need to plunk down $50 for one month and go lurking in their members only forum. And that members only forum is intriguing to me to lurk among and see what the discussions are about. If you think I'm right, say so, but don't reply bashing them. If I'm right there is a lesson to be learned here which is that you arm your affiliates with tools they want and need to make your product successful (if your a merchant that is). You give them content, pictures, etc, etc so they can make a better go of it with you. WA appears to be the gold standard for some members. I would love to hear from someone using it that is not an affiliate of WA.
ow yes,WA is money sucking machene only, long tme ago dated, and without any usable tools at all, mobile marketing is much more decent stuff today, you can check it at w.w.w mobilabs.net im not trying to promote, w.w.w doesnt give any backlinks also. its just a recomendation
I am one of the member of WA and regarding your question..do you know how many people successful with their coach..and their coaching is so cheap where other charges around $1000 or even more than that.. See you need to read it before complaining it..first you need to experience it and if you don't like than you can tell whatever you like but you should have valid reason for it.. They have all the testominals and they one of the well know internet marketer Thanks Alam
