I shared that understanding that girls were getting married at the age of 9 1400 years ago a few weeks ago with a man from Germany he just laughed at it saying that's BS.

It is true that girls were getting married around 14 - 16, but not 9.

Marry is believed to have been pregnant at around 14-16 with Jesus.
So Marry had (in %) at least 55.555% more time (60%X9 +9 =14 years) for physical and mental development. That is a lot of time for growth!


9 year old girl is about 3rd grade. Go to any school and take a look at the girls. Then think about, if they fit in the picture of being married. Even to a prophet at the age 53.

Fun. Taking things out of context. I was referring to a particular episode I believe. I have gotten infractions for other things, but not to wat that statement was referring to. The fact that you did not even bother to link to the original posting tells all.

You know what is a shame? I entered into dialogue with you many moons ago, now, as you are obviously an intelligent, artful thinker. I initially posed a question to you in good faith, and sought an honest dialogue, all in an attempt to bridge a cultural divide that is, unfortunately, only growing interminably wider. I came with no agenda, and was fully prepared to hear your mind. Your actions quickly disabused me of the notion that any good faith dialogue could take place. It's a lost opportunity, and that is a shame.

I long ago gave up any notion that you deal with the apparent truth head on, but as the question was raised, I merely pointed out the source material to Summer and others. As we all know, I cannot know the reasons you have received your numerous infractions.

I merely wrote that you had them, when you said you had none. How you attempt to work around this, or any issue, is, as I also said, your choice.
