I wonder how many copies of The Life of Brian DVD have been sold? The SouthPark boys made their fortune starting with a cartoon of Jesus and Santa Claus beating the crap out of each other. Seriously Menj, this is the 21st century. We're a bit more sophisticated now than back in the seventh century. Hell, even schoolchilden know that words don't hurt. Toughen up there kid!
I will have to say shows like southpark making fun of Jesus is offensive to me, BUT I don't let it bother me, in fact I don't and won't watch the show. Also, the show is meant to offend and they do a go job offending everyone equally, so at least they are equal opportunity. LOL Christians may not like the show and choose to not watch it because of the content, and that is a good form of protest. But maybe we should do it right and burn down buildings, blow up some people and have riots?? What do you think?
If you don't watch southpark, you never get to see the really funny ones. The ones with jesus usually suck, totally unfunny. But you cant miss episodes like: fun with weapons (hilarious!), southpark WoW episode, the 9/11 truther one (they tried too hard here, though), and some others. Oh yeah, the one where they mock the simpsons (sea men plus sea people = sea ciety!) LOL oh man that one is too funny.
Sounds crazy, but I have learned alot about other religions from watching south park. Like what scientology teaches and about the mormon church. I guess it sounds weird but I have a dog with the exact same personality as Cartman. He is a spoiled rotten little pomeranian that is always doing things he shouldn't. Everytime I watch Cartman, he reminds me of CoCo and it makes me smile Menj, do they have any shows like south park in malaysia?
