Well seeing how people like to join active forums (vs empty ones) you may want to start with a few less catagories so that it looks like it's busier.

At the moment you have 30 catagories w/ 1-2 posts, which doesn't seem very active at all.

The hardest part of any forum is getting it off the ground. But all in all the top banner needs a little rework, and try to shift the theme of the site a little further from such a default looking skin.

Also you have to think to yourself "what do i offer that others don't?"

Like here at DP it's wonderful people lead by a superhuman hero

These are all things that you could look at when starting out.

 

Also Spamming though the PM system to promote your new site is not a good idea.

 

yeah you can get blocked by admin if the member reported you

 

y do ppl put points in their webmaster forums,
like digital point
and site point

 

Maybe for the same reason people use ridiculous text messaging language in their forum posts.

 

Yup, if you get rid of some of the categories, it will look much more busy.

It's a pretty decent looking forum.

I don't understand/like the name to be honest.
