Will Duplicate Content get banned from Google?

Hello everyone! Now I'm running a blog about Personal Finance. In my blog I write about Real Estate, Forex and other relevant information.

Now What i want to do now is - start another blog, let say about Real Estate and everytime I write an article on real estate, I just update 2 of the blogs - Personal Finance(old blog) and real estate(new blog).

So will this be considered as "copycat" of content and get banned from Google?

PS: I will host this 2 blogs in same domain.....

Opps..... Just forget to say thank you for your reading.... and helps!

I dont think duplicated content will get you banned, but it surely will not help your page rank or indexation

The worst scenario is that you are put into supplemental not banned, at least as far as i know

It will likely get one of the pages thrown into the supplemental index. This basically means it will receive little or no traffic from google. Supplemental results are shown when there are very few results returned for a query. Think of them as a last resort for google to try and show you something.

I have had a MFA duplicate site removed from the index, so I haven't tried another since

You have to randomize the content if you use scraped content for a MFA site. My software uses a modified version of MARKOV to make unique content out of the input. No supplemental results that way ;)

Another thing, is to make sure you dont link to the duplicate content. It is much more difficult for google to know your content is a duplicate if you aren't linking to a copy of it anywhere else.

I have a problem in that I am posting news articles and studies from other websites, and I want to give them credit for it and not post it as if it's mine. So I always duplicate the content, link back to the original site using anchor text in the link.

I think you should quote little, and comment more. =) I mean... quoting is about picking out one or two sentences right? That should be much of a problem... the issue comes when you take an article by the paragraphs.

I've been quoting everybody.. three lines here and two lines there --- no problems. But do value add to the quotations with your comments ya. Add value to the web and blogosphere!

just make separate blog for Real Estate and don't post about Real Estate in the old blog anymore

point your visitors on the old blog to the Real Estate blog so they know where the articles will be
also it's good to make home page with links to both blogs and both blogs go inside 2 seprate directories/subdomains
