Banned from Twitter for Tweeting TOO Much?

Just yesterday, I visit my Twitter page and found out all my Tweets was pretty much empty looking..

Most of my tweet retrieves comes from posting/updating from Facebook Fanpage, I post 3-6 times a day on FBpage so Twitter receives exactly that..

Also, Twitter wouldn't even let me access my account settings.. and I'm very curious if any of you encountered the same problems I'm having..

 

3 to 6 times a day does not sound like too much.
But twitter will definitely suspend an account that looks too spammy.

Indications of tweet spam might include
no personal tweets
all the tweets contain url's
the exact tweets as other accounts
all tweet are automatically generated
tweets are made precisely at the same time day after day
all tweets are from the same third party source

The lesson to be learned is 'mix it up' with automatic tweets, time delays, multiple sources, plain tweets and anything else that makes it appear like a real human is behind it

 

spammy account activity and collaboration with other social network is a pitfall for getting banned.

 

try to make a mix of chatting, discussions and posting links..

 

I think tiwtter must do that to protect their reputation, now a days twitter is spammy as hell. less than 10 twitter submissions per day doesn't look spammy btw.

 

yeah, some people twit almost everything that they do. eating, sleeping, throwing the garbage, wash hands... lol..

 

Are you using any software to post your tweets beside the one you mentioned. I love twitter and facebook so I use tumblr so what ever i post on tumblr will also be available in facebook and twitter. I am posting around 8-12 times per day and not having any issues.

 

Try to come in contact with Twitter and ask them about your problem. The only thing had happened to me is to wait some time before I can tweet again, because I made many posts in an hour, but I never get banned.

 

That wasn't a ban.
Twitter likes when You use it a lot.

Quality always beats quantity...

 

Truth. Gets a little irritating at times because I don't need to know everything you do. For a while I had posts from the forum being put on Twitter and that was easily 50+ a day and had no problems.

 

Maybe you post something that is spammy.

 

If you do more than 30 twits in a day including URL then it could be a reason to get spam by twitter...For more information you can twitter Rules & Regulation....

 

don't post links in every single twit if you twit too much, it happened to me a few times with a few accounts, no more spamming now im white hat only

Try posting via web browser, rather than using your current app - that might solve the problem.

 

Strange they banned you. Only explanation to me would be illegal content or something because i've seen accounts that just crawl the web and place more than hundreds of tweets a day.

 

I think its ridiculous that things like "mix up personal tweets with links and retweets" have to be said. Why the heck are you on twitter if you're not actually being a real person there? Nobody will listen to a spam twitter account, only other spam accounts. And if all you're doing is tweeting links, or auto-tweets, then face it, you ARE a spam account.

 

I like these message. Quality must come first.

 

lol !!!!! are you serious, banned in twitter ? You must be really spamming the site out of your limit, man.......
I tweet and re-tweet atleast 50-60 tweets in 24 hours and I have never been banned. This is the first time I am hearing that Twitter has banned some one... lol !!!!!!

You might be unknowingly promoting some site which twitter doesnot like.... thatz the only reason I can think of your condition
