We forbid the suggestion of related 'sites'. It says so right there in the Suggestion Guidelines which also spell out the penalties that can be applied should you ignore them.

Just suggest the root URL please. Editors (not you) might decide to additionally list deeplinks.

OP is asking you if it's possible to be listed in multiple categories and not what Suggestion Guidelines says.

Why can't you just explain why and when some sites listed in different categories?
Are you here to help DP members or to put them down with your useless remarks?

I will send an email to the site to which I refer from your profile DMOZ. Tell me what you think?

Yes we do list sites in more than one category. If you want to check that out just put BBC into the search tag and see what comes up.

But the guidelines for suggesting sites clearly says this

To my embarrassment, I'm a monoglot and so have no clue what that website's about. It looks as though editors seeking country specific info chose to list deeplinks of it. It's a common enough occurrence and it's not editorial abuse.

Now that is much better explanation than the one you gave before.

In addition you could mention that the same site/domain can be listed in both
main and regional categories as for example AMRAY Web Hosting does.

    :)

    I'll tell you axactly why.
Because you're hijacking threads and editors are punishing you for that.

We punish people who use our data without the required attribution in accordance with the ODP licence by not listing them in DMOZ as you well know, but we certainly do not punish people who ask questions on here, even though that might hijack the thread. Punishing people for hijacking here is for the moderators of DP to decide about as you also well know.

So, you're admitting that you're punishing people for all sorts of bogus reasons
but trolling and spamming just not one of them.

Thank you for bringing that to public attention.

I am always pleased to inform the public that if they use DMOZ data without the correct attribution according to the licence here http://www.dmoz.org/license.html they will not be listed in the directory. I do understand that you have some personal issues with that, but they are your issues and I wish to inform anyone wishing to use DMOZ data of the conditions that the directory sets for that usage.

And I wish if you have something to say or argue my point, you address this issue in thread
I've started on that particular subject and leave this thread alone. Stop hijacking it.
