I've finally decided to purchase hosting and take some time to design my homepage. SEO and Stuff

I'm looking for a design critique, not SEO advice

All the main sections are online, however most of their subsections arent.
For an example of a subsection go to
    --> http://www.seoandstuff.com/skypereception.php

Also the blog is online now, with an article (which i wrote a couple months ago)

The website should fill up fairly fast as I have most of these pages and services already under construction, or completed but not online.

Anyhow tell me what you think, constructive criticism is appreciated!

Bit difficult to comment without more text to see how it's styled (maybe add some Lorem Ipsum?)

Nice design otherwise, colours and buttons.

Maybe you should make the hompage (services?) more obvious and have a down state for the top row of buttons. I was a little confused because they didn't change when I was in different sections.

Also, I think the main logo should be on the left - it gets a bit lost on the right side on a hi res setting.

    Hope this helps.

i think the logo and the header is nice... :)

also, the color scheme is good...

but you gotta change the fonts - both in the main body and in the navigation bar.

I added a new page onto it at http://www.seoandstuf.com/example.php which users Lorem Ipsum to show you more text.

I was thinking the same thing about the homepage, wasn't sure if i needed to do that when people were browsing though.

Header acts strangely in Camino. If I click a link in the header, it all squashes together. Also, the links aren't underlined but the non-link are. Very counter intuitive. The header is also much wider than the rest, which seems weird.

The left hand menu seems disjointed, as in not part of the design, besides the colour. Not integrated well. Not a fluid feel. Don't like the centered button text either in the left hand menu.

Overall, it's kind of nice and fresh and clean but it doesn't feel right. Not sure why. I'd try and use the exact same lay-out on the blog as the rest so it's all one site.

Overall, I like your site. It has a nice layout, colors, and is easy to read. Really good use of white space. It will be nice when you have more content complete. I like your blog page. Some good info on SEO and link building.
