Can someone please explain to me what is Keyword Stuffing?

What is the right and wrong way to do this?

Keyword stuffing "is considered to be an unethical search engine optimization (SEO) technique. Keyword stuffing occurs when a web page is loaded with keywords in the meta tags or in content. The repetition of words in meta tags may explain why many search engines no longer use these tags"

I don't really think there is a right way to do this and it is a bad idea. You can implement some relevant keywords throughout your content often but I don't consider that keyword stuffing.

 

keyword stuffing is "wrong" way, there is no right way of doing it...

there are many ways to do keyword stuffing...simplest one is just keep posting the same keywords multiple times all over the webpage...another way will use hidden commands to hide all the keywords but show something else to users.

keyword stuffing is not effective anymore and raise google red flag easily nowadays.

 

keyword stuffing is using your keywords aggressively and what happen is tat google bot banns/spam you and this is termed as keyword stuffing. it obviously affects your search engine ranking. according to googles webmaster guideline the % of keywords in proportion to your content should be less then 6% and the appropriate figure is 2%-4%

 

It is when keywords are used obsessively in your website content to give it a density of more than %2. This is obviously very WRONG. But people do this to gain priority in search engines.

Google doesn't fall for keyword stuffing any more. It used to work but they got wise to it. Just keep your keyword density at about 3-5% (at most) and you should be fine.

Keyword stuffing is one kind of blackhat seo tactic. Use unnecessary keyword repeatation in web page content like keyword stuffing.

 

Just write content for the users, it will have the right weightage of keywords, they will rank high if you create relevant backlinks.

 

Content should be unique and easy to understand for visitors, no need for keyword stuffing it doesn't help. Only good content can win visitors.
