shall i delete spam forum posts on my forum

    Hi,Some new registered members just advertise their websites on my internet marketing forum - www.webmarketingboard.com i usually delete those threads i want to know whether it's good or not because i noted that in google webmaster tools the deleted threads are shown 404 error in google crawl.Any suggestion.

    ok thanks man but the 404 crawling error increasing i want to know may this affect ranking and indexing.

    That's fine, 404 won't do you any harm. What can do you harm is letting too many spam posts stay indexed.

    This. Make your registration have a captcha and a question involved to sign up. That has eliminated almost all spam on my forum.

    Hi man now manual spammers are around internet.I also have recaptcha,email confirmation still spam posts uh..

    The new xrumer does recaptcha. Better off looking for a different captcha alternative.

    just delete it...404 error is better than google flag your site as spam site.
