    The reason there are those links in the footer is beause it is a free theme, the creater of the theme probally charged people for those spots, I suggest leaving them there, if you are not happy I would change themes.

    I guess that link is required to be there, in order to use the theme for free. Free themes ain't free..

    Get a new theme if you don't want the links.

    Yes, as susggested above 1. ethically you should keep them else 2. contact theme ownser seek permission or strike a deal, theme owner can remove those encrypted code else 3. search for a new free theme without those links else 4. Buy a premium theme

    Find the similar theme which has no links and switch to it.There is a lot of free themes you can choose from.

    It's quite easy, but you should ask for the authors permission. If you get it, then google it and you will find how to decode it very fast.

    Leaving these links in your footer will not do any harm to your site its a away alot of free wordpress themes get back links to promote there own products, you have got top look at it another way if you have designed a free theme and then someone removed your link you would not be happy

    You need to keep those theme sponsors links there as it is as you are using free theme. If you don't want them then just purchase new theme or hire someone to design and code new theme for you.

    DON.

    Just a matter of finding the source or any include files. Sometimes they are hidden or encoded, but usually not a problem. If your wordpress uses and cacheing be sure to clear or remove it to make sure it is updating. Downloaded and it doesn't seem too difficult to remove. Keep searching or let me know if you need help.

    Yeah right, "Free themes ain't free". If you keep that, you help them sell, a mutual relationship. If you wan't to remove that, then buy it. :)

    Nice looking site - even with the footer links. They're almost unnoticeable, I won't worry about them. Your content is what matters and it looks good. When you have some extra cash, you can always upgrade to a premium theme.

    Is the problem solved. If not then which link do you need to remove. If you need to remove the link below footer, then you can use this code:

    /* paste in style.css */
    #footer2 {
    display: none;
    }

    This code hides the bottom footer. You can then create a new footer with your custom links.
