alexa and google analytics is totally difference

    search my site by alexa ip is 1000 one day but in fact
    on google analytics is 50 ip one day
    could someone tell me what's the difference between of them:)

    What do you mean by "ip" as in "alexa ip is 1000 one day" and "google analytics is 50 ip one day"?

    Alexa guess how many people might have gone to your site based upon the small percentage of people who have the toolbar installed; GA tracks actual visitors.

    Alexa only predicts but google Analytics give you the accurate data, main reason is alexa is not perfect yet :)

    The traffic stats provided by the Alexa is inflated most of the times. I always trust google analytics which gives accurate traffic statistics.

    Using Google Analytics is a much better way of determining actual stats, as opposed to Alexa rank which is skewed depending on who has installed their toolbar.

    google analytics and alexa are both using the different technologies to track the record of webpage or website... thats why the difference will be always there in both of the result.

    I'm having a hard time believing the accuracy of Alexa. On the other hand, Google is too unpredictable. Now that there is a new algo, things are getting more complicated. But I still prefer the reliability of Google over Alexa.
