I've been rewriting my dup content on a website that was nailed by the algo change. The rankings on those pages are improving.

So if you have dup content you may be able to recover by replacing it.

its a ton of back links... its tons of quality back links. Don't gather too much links in short period of time. I remember what Matt say's in a video there is no such excessive linking just make sure your linking is natural, they don't care if you got tons of links in a day via link bait its fine but we should be accept that fact that it won't happen so better be safe...
