Hi! I wish to track my blog daily visitors. I want check everyday come same person to my blog so how do i do it? I mean i want check how many unique daily visitors i have so how do i do it?
Well, I think the best and possibly the easiest way would be to use google analytics. That way you get detailed reports for all your visitors, from where they came from, etc. If your site is hosted on linux you probbably have cpanel installed, which also has many applications for visitor tracking, like AWstats or similar, so maybe that would work for you too.
I second Google Analytics. If you have a Wordpress blog you can download an Analytics plugin. All you need to do once setup in Analytics is add a web profile ID.
Right, If you are using cPanel as your hosting control panel then you ca use AWstats to check website traffic stats. You can even use Google Analytics which is also widely used and is reliable source.
Yes, for free, Google Analytics (GA) is hard to beat. Some are hardcore, preferring to ogle at their server stats within their hosting control panel. Personally, I pay for a subscription to Clicky analytics. One of the benefits of Clicky over GA, is that with Clicky, I can track individuals. Therefore, in addition to knowing the total number of unique visitors I had, I can also drill down to view each visitor separately, and track their individual actions across my site.
I have blogger, blog dude! But blogger statistics and Google Analytics statistics are different. Google Analytics show less visitors but blogger shows higher visitors. Why is that?
I think the best tracker is google analytics... You get to know about no of visits, no of page views, from which country you get the most visitors, the browsers they use, screen resolution they use and many more features... I think this helps you...
You start to create a blog and everyday nurtured it with postings that blogs. And, submits your blog link to the main search engines like Google, yahoo and any other sites. After some days you got the visitors check your link or blog. Next month some of your friends visited your blog and left comments. At the end you can see someone.
If the particular visitor is from a sufficiently "small" location (think: not New York), then you can get by with Analytics. If you really really want to identify a single individual then you'll need to trace IP connections to the web server, which you can do by analyzing the server logs.
statscounter.com is what i use and you can get them for free but if your site(s) has a lot of visitors you should consider upgrading/paying a fee per month. I experience the same at wordpress.com - i see more visits on the blog stats tracking than my statscounter..
If you have a blogger account then you can reach the unique visitor by just creating that blog account in google analytics and web mastertool.
You can opt to use Google Analytics or getclicky for free tracking of your visitors. There are few other popular alternatives like AWstats as well though so its up to you to choose.
Just Put google analytic code in you website between head section and watch every visitor in google analytic page...
