I think you need to make this applicable for all visitors, not just for US, because I think it's not just US using the internet.

It's the end of Uploading. I think they have no problems with PayPal or Alertpay, they are just scared about what happened to Hotfile. I'll start moving my files to another service.

what does that mean!! we did the job for a month to not be paid at the end.

It is where the support which meets every time "we will solve the problem soon, " "we'll start to pay next week" ...

I think the site draws many of us for a month and they will close their doors soon.

What I recommend uploaders here is to stop posting articles with Uploading links until to see what they will do

Of course they are deleting tickets, otherwise they are bombarded with blinking tickets every 2 seconds that are slowing them down from the reprogramming they need to do. From March 2009 to March 2010 the number of tickets went from 1,200 to 42,000. From March 2010 to March 2011 the number of tickets has gone from 42,000 to 158,000. I can only imagine how much time it takes to respond to all that, and naturally that a good chunk of those have been sent in the last month. I agree that they should have a standard formulated response just to ease people a little bit, but they for some reason don't find it necessary to do so. I have worked with a ticket system before, and if theirs is a little antiquated then having a full system slows down the speed of everything. Clearing tickets without responding just clears up some much needed space for them. That is my guess at least...

    @Anonamix
I understand your first point and do realize that I was talking more about my situation than everyone, mainly because I am living mine and no one else's. While the money aspect of it sucks, it is definitely a good life lesson to not put your eggs in one basket. My sites aren't warez in nature, but I have even seen on a lot of those sites they have multiple download options (uploading, bitshare, filesonic [seems to be the current king], etc). This gives users a choice as to where they want to have a premium account and it doesn't screw your money up so much if one service goes down (the way everyone was screwed by hotfile). I can see it really sucking if you do rely on the money to pay rent and such, but just think of the $6000 paycheck that will come when they get their stuff working again!

When it comes to not paying, Section 9 doesn't cover payment but Section 13 will if it comes down to it. For those that aren't going to go look it up, it basically states that they can terminate your account at any time at it's sole discretion. If they so feel, writing a rude ticket to them could be enough for them to terminate your account. It goes on to say that they can "remove the Client's account record" which means they would not have to pay you for reasons that they don't have to explain. On top of that, have you ever seen a lawyer that will put together a class action lawsuit against people in Russia or where ever Uploading resides? Since I am guessing a large percentage of their hosted files are illegal in North America, it is reasonable to assume that they are no where near those laws (also that they are 6 hours ahead of me here in Toronto is good evidence of that). According to what +1 on the timezone charts show, they are more than likely in Germany or one of the Slovak nations. If they are in the right one where they are not breaking any local laws, they are protected against any legal action that can be brought to them.

Everyone else, just be patient or start moving your files somewhere else...

That would be awesome with all the money that is rolling in, but unfortunately I am not. When it comes to ticket number, you can just click Support and then Ticket History and you will see the date the ticket was entered into the system and the ticket ID. I am on "Uploading's side" because they offer a great service and as a webmaster I know that there are sometimes issues that have to be overcome. Especially with the amount of storage space and servers they need to have for such a venture, and payment gateways will block accounts for even the smallest complaints these days which is probably what the real problem is. I used to sell cigars online until PayPal randomly added to their terms of service that you can't sell tobacco products. They blocked my account without warning, as well as the next 2 accounts that I opened up because they had the same name. I was unable to withdraw funds from the initial account for a couple months while they "investigated" which is probably the predicament that Uploading is facing. So while I am not part of the Uploading team, I can sympathize with them as I have had similar problems a few times in the past that are annoying to try to get past. While this whole thing sucks, I am confident that they will make good on what they owe. I have no other problems with the site and the download counters are still going so it is just a matter of time before we all get that HUGE payment!

the most important thing i guess is to tell parteners whats exactly the problem of their accounts
not tell people that everything is ok and they just update accounts .
if they tell exactly what happen maybe partners will be more calm
also with ur story u talk about paypal account , but in this condition the problem is with all the payement process not just paypal or alertpay ...

They said that Webmoney is the best alternative But No money paid via webmoney !
Why support do not want reply and explain the problem clearly ? ! Why this intentional disregard ? !

They approved alot of payout requests since long time (No problem in this with them) But they don't pay anymore (this is the problem) :(
If they have problems with PP and AP, So Why they don't pay via Webmoney ?

    Hi guys,

We're really sorry bout all the problems we caused to you, but we have some good news so far. Issues with paypal were solved, and we'll make all the payments during this week! As for webmoney, we're also loaded all funds in webmoney acc, and will make all the payments this week.

No news from Alertpay, so there might few days more delay here.

    Regards,
    Uploading.com Support Team
