hey people. i have poetry site and from time to time i get high paying ads that has the money keywords like: loan, insurance and etc.... i currently dont have these keywords on my sites, or maybe in few poems and i wonder if i will add them if it`s ok? cause in this way i will make more money thanks!
Even if you add those words in your site, you won't get the exact CPC mentioned to that particular keyword. You will get CPC on the basis of your traffic and how quality it is.
Yes only huge traffic can force Google to host high paying ads in your site. However, I wonder you are having finance related keywords on a poetry site. It is wise to change your site content related to finance only for it may increase the CTR.
I've done big insurance PPC campaigns, and if I noticed someone with an unrelated site putting insurance keywords on their site and sending traffic, I'd complain and have them terminated / get a refund. I've had a site about myspace layouts do what you're trying to do and suck up $1,000 in a few hours without sending a conversion.
