I think the previous replies have covered it but being active (in a good way) online and leaving back links can get you a lot of traffic if you keep at it. Learning SEO is great too!
if you are a seller in your website, then i will recommend you to sell them in buy, trade section. This will make you money and promote your website too. Other way is to do social bookmarking. It will help you out. RSS Feeds is also not bad.................
I would find a couple social networks and/or communities online that will work well for your site and content. Focus almost all of your attention on those and build relationships with users within them. The biggest asset the web has is the ability to find like minded people who you can help and they can help you. The only way to find thse people are to fully dive into a couple communities, learn the etiquette, meet people, become known, and start networking.
Drive traffic to your blog via paid advertising. That in my opinion is the best way to do it. Of course that's assuming you're selling something on it or promoting a product/offer. If you're not then you definitely don't want to do it since you'll just lose money. So yeah, if you're not selling anything on your blog then the posts above answer your question pretty well.
SMO perhaps? If you don't even try to get your website even visible or recognised in search then people won't be able to discover it. Try increasing the market value of your website by exposing it more via Social Networks.
Has anyone had any luck getting their blogspot pages ranked well on search engines? Most of the time Google will not rank you well any place for six month or longer, it is referred to as the sandbox. I would learn to write good titles first. There are two types of good titles and they are sometimes mutually exclusive. One kind of title grabs the reader. Another kind grabs the search engine. There are ways to accomplish both through metadata. A title that no one is search for will do you no good at all. That's just one thing to consider. I would get a domain and hosting, I wouldn't spend my time on Blogspot or any free hosting. Keep adding ORIGINAL content. Then give it time to rise to the top IF you learn how to get to the top. I don't think you'll get to the top in your niche by pure luck. I haven't researched it but I expect it to be a huge niche with a lot of competition. Find forums related to your niche, don't spam the forum. Establish yourself as someone that knows the topic. Put your website in your signature. Ask question and be helpful where you can. Become an authority with good reputation. This will take some time. With all the PC tips sites out there, why should I go to yours instead of someone else's. Ask yourself that question and when you find the answer, you might have the start of something that will work. It sounds like you're off to a decent start but this stuff takes time unless you have tons of money to pay for traffic with sources like Adwords. And by all means use Facebook. Setup a fanpage. Offer information, don't just spam your site. Give, Give, Give and eventually, if you stick with it, it will pay off.
Just post unique and interesting content on your blog, then syndicate the content by doing some link building campaigns like blog commenting, forum posting, directory submission, and social bookmarking.
Like always, the key to a great blog is unique and readable content. Content for the masses! But these alone are not enough. You need to learn to market your blogs. You need to learn a lot about various things like SEO, back-linking, social networking, etc.. go to problogger dot net. That guy is the reason for my my blogs popularity.
