Did I lost my paypal balance or i'm weak in maths?

    Hey,

    2 days earlier I tried to withdraw $500 from my paypal to my bank account.. It converts into Rs.21,747.35 INR

    Today my bank transfered got reversed due to recover a negative balance (1 dispute is pending) but my paypal balance after the dispute is positive

    And after reversal of $500 I just got $468 back in my paypal...

    What the hell is this now?

    thats because the exchange rate from paypal --> bank is less than bank --> paypal.

    You lose some money when the bank transfer is reversed.

    money is reversed and so you lost it due to exchange rates

    Yes that was due to exchange rates but if your transaction was wrongly reversed you may get refunded.

    I always wondered about this. It seems paypal makes it extremely hard to see where your money is going. don't trust them.

    Dont worry you will get your pending balance soon. Paypal returns you deducted fee after some days.

    It's normal to transfer from paypal to localbank.. It's formally known as transfer charge @ fee... :D

    Paypal also seems to use low conversion rates... very low.. they pocket about 2c from what I've transferred every time..
