So your Tv furniture and everything is destroyed but your PC remained safe and you found the pleasurable time to go on DP and read some threads ? rather than inquiring about your neighbours and the people in your city .
Anyways my condolences to the people who Really suffered this disaster which is uncontrollable and beyond human prediction power .

What makes you think MiletNZ isn't from NZ/Christchurch?
Personally, I think it's pretty typical of Kiwis to dust themselves off and get back to their normal lives after something like this, and it should be applauded.

Who do you think you are? Why would I lie about a thing like this when I have witnessed it all first hand? You have no idea what it is like to see the city you grew up in destroyed in a matter of seconds and hundreds of people dead and missing. I have spent the last two weeks helping with the clean up and I have made sure everybody I know is safe and have offered my assistance to everyone in need of it. I have now come back to work this week where I have internet access and the luxury of electricity and running water.

Totally irrelevant as I am using my office PC but In regards to everything being broken at my home, yes the large objects easily fell over but as I have a Laptop, that didn't fall over.

    Regards

Thank you Kerosene, you know what us Kiwis are like :) although a lot of Kiwis are fleeing NZ to go over to Aussie, My wife wants to move to Brisbane or Melbourne to get away from it all.
