Anytime you are confused, your mind is in conflict, do asanas, sit in asana, do meditation. You will see, right away clarity comes.Just try this .
Meditation does help, but many things can be solved by just taking a deep breath and do a walk outside for a few minutes. It shouldn't be too long, but just enough to get some distraction.
This has been my remedy too so far I'm interested in Meditation, but never find the time to figure out the basics like how, or what should you do to get what kind of results?

Just sit or lay down, think about other things than work, money. Think about your health, family, are you happy? Every second someone on the planet gets the news he or she has cancer, are you happy with your life or do you wanna do the same thing for the rest of your life? If you're happy, do some more, but otherwise you might want to make a big change
