Need to make my IM site better.

    Hey folks. I'd love for you to take a look at my site and offer any advice or critiques.

    What works? What doesn't work? What should I add? What should I remove.

    It's an IM review site. Or rather an Honest feedback site. Check it out and let me know what you think.

    Thanks Queency. I completely agree. I think I'm going to find someone on Fiverr to create one. Seems like there are some talented people on there. And it's only $5.

    The first page has a very weird layout. The rest is ok.

    The thing about the layout is that it got too much white space. Specially in the middle. Try to focus on the list. Now I feel that the focus is on the pictures on the right side.

    How to give focus on the list? Maybe show rating on the first page, encourage your visitors to comment on the products and so on.

    Hmmm draw focus to the list. Good advice. I'll have to think about how to do this. The bareness of the home page was on purpose. I'm always so turned off by other "review" sites that are so cluttered that it's hard to find what your looking for. But if the bareness is not appealing then that defeats the purpose to so I'll have to give that some thought.

    I completely agree about encouraging visitors to comment. Getting them involved is something I hope to do. The comment section on each page is brand new though. I just added it so (hopefully) that's why there are so few comments.

    Well it is a free theme. Part of the experiment with my site is to see what I can accomplish on a shoestring budge.

    Instead of just reviewing every single product I've decided to take a let the customer tell me what they want approach. So I've added a poll, where every week they can tell me what products they are actually interested in.

    I should add that this is all an experiment to see how well an almost entirely free site ($8) can do.
