Best way of promoting a new FB page?

Hi everyone

Recently I setup a Facebook page for my site, but despite 300+ organic daily uniques I am getting hardly any likes for the group. I am very new to social network marketing, so I ask, what do you guys do to get targeted visitors to your site's facebook page? Thanks for any advice.

 

Add the facebook widget to your website, and offer freebies and incentives for "liking" the page, like a free ebook for group / page fans only. This normally boost the facebook fans count nicely and loads of them won't bother to "unlike" later on.

It's better to have a page and not a group, as you have less limitations and more options to invite friends in. Hope this helps. Good luck!

i guess you have to have minimum of 25 likes to get your page on facebook..ask your friend s to click like button.. this will help to promote your buisness

 

Use twitter to promote your page and participate in social votes. Connect with other page admins and offer to like their page if they like yours. Advertising is a good option if you are ready to lighten you pocket Try to give incentives like give them an invitation to google voice for liking your page.

 

Promote it trough Facebook ads, I always have a great response from this type of promotion.

According to me, the best way of promoting a new FB page is to have a facebook widget on your website and also post fresh & useful content in your FB page wall so that it can more and more users......

 

This + invite all your friends to join the page (their friends will be able to see this and it can have a viral effect) and also use facebook ads if they dont turn out expensive

 

I second this suggestion. $10 got me 50,000 ad impressions and 7 clicks which my service cost $300. 2 of those clicks converted to sales so I made $600 off of $10. Do the math ;-)

You should do a lot of viral marketing tactics to fetch as many as likes and viewers you can Also try to post some good posts and articles plus images on your fan page wall and share them with some of your fans. So this way your post will be displayed on their homepage walls which will also be viewed by their friends, who are not yet your fans. So if you have a catchy title and image then those users will also like your fan page

 

I suggest you use facebook ads to drive people to your like page. It works very well for me though it can cost at times. However, i profit more than i spend. I was taught a new technique to get Facebook Ads free by an ex-facebook employee though. you can check it out in my link signature.
