Can we add funds to paypal acc from a bank acc without any PIN? How is this secure?

I have a doubt... since i am an Indian, I do not have support to add funds via bank acc..
But I think we need to initiate funds transfer to paypal account (for NON Indians) from a bank via the online website of that particular bank. But according to paypal help guide
Its like as follows......

Log in to your PayPal account.
Click Add Funds at the top of the page.
Click Add funds from a US bank account.
Select your bank account (if you have more than one).
Enter the amount to transfer and click Continue.
Review the transfer details and click Submit.

We are not asked any PIN of bank etc, how is this safe?
When we put a funds transfer request, how come funds transfer is initiated from paypal?

I actually wanted to have a US paypal account?
I asked my friend to help me... i actually don't know that we can upload funds directly to paypal right from the paypal account.
I thought even if I initiate a funds upload, paypal may contact my bank account... then how come bank will send my funds (even if the paypal account is mine) without my personal acceptance

Am I missing anything here..... i never dealt with such things... so asking for your advice.
Can i assure my friend that his funds in the bank are safe even if he has added that account to paypal and give access to me?
I need to hold my earnings in the paypal account and since I am an Indian, i cannot have them in the account for more than 7 days.
Please suggest me a solution if it exists

i believe indian paypal accounts dont have any funding options.

If you want US Paypal account,use a VPN with US IP address and us US Paypal account for buying and selling online and use Indian Paypal account for withdrawing money to your bank account.

 

they can fund the paypal balance from their bank account ( my one of us friend told this )

 

Thank you but we may need a US bank account to verify, I think and also social security number.

Yup, they can but doesn't bank need verification for this.... then whats the security for the money in the bank account if there is no PIN etc used?

 

Yes,By using VPN you will get a US IP address and you can access your US Paypal accoutn with that IP address.You can verify your US Paypal account if any of your relatives stay in USA
