My site used to get good rankings on google. I noticed at the end of December all my rankings gone or move to 6th or 9th page. I thought my site got banned or something, but that don't seem to be the case. Can someone please explain what happened to my site.
if it had a big pagerank drop or something, you can send google a message from the webmaster panel and they might reverse it. but that would only help if you actually knew what you did wrong...
How new is your site? I've found many of my sites rank well when they first go online and get indexed and then slowly drop to lower pages if I don't build quality content or links to them.
I did not have pagerank drop, as matter of fact i gain 1. Used to be pr 1 not its 2. The site is not new at all(2 years old). I think the reason might be because i haven't add any fresh content and good quality backlinks.
You have not said about your SEO activities. So how can we answer? Please briefly explain and we will tell you why your rank go down? Are you doing black hat seo techniques then surely your rank will go down.
