Important Update from Paypal for PayPal India Users : Change in User Agreement

I am ready to comply with their rule to send payment via my linked credit card but the funding source automatically selects "paypal balance". It shows credit card as the funding source only when I have 0$ in my account.

 

i also tried sending money from my paypal balance and it worked !

 

is this working still? sending and receiving $500+ working still?

 

for some guys its not working. just try to send some money yourself and see

 

I have just successfully sent $150 from my paypal balance to my writer who lives in USA.. And he instantly received the money..

 

maybe the new paypal accounts will face this restriction and the older accounts will remain as it is. To think of this other way, paypal will implement it on 7th of this month - remember the grace time.

 

For a fraction of sec you brought some sort of happiness in my mind. lol
anyway, lets hope for the best,.

 

I tried paying yest and even today to another PP account within india. Its working. So whats the deal.. are they gonna reverse these payments later or are payments allowed really upto a certain limit ? Whats going on ? I am confused ~!

 

I have just sent some money to my writer, who is living in india. There was no any problem. He got the fund successfully.

 

you can also send the money to your namecheap account, can keep overthere. When you need money or send money, just use the "refund function

 

Hi Don. Its a GREAT thing. My only worry is reversals !!!! If that happens, it will be a bigger mess. Especially since they even notify us everytime we login. Is it 'illegal' if we try to do that when they have notified us its against the TOS ? Thats what worries me.

 

Same here I also got More then 500 ($$$) payment in my paypal account, please suggest me what to do with it? should I withdraw that amount ? please suggest.

 

I suggest follow Rules according to Paypal.Maybe Paypal can reverse the payments liek it did in case of personal payments last year.I am withdrawing Paypal balance I recieve and I am using my CC attached to my Paypal account for sending payments online.

 

The problem is .. Any1 yet tried sending 500$+ to some1 in India? I have no1 whom I can pay 500$ .. So waiting for some1 who did it personally.

 

It will, man. When none of the policies have been working till now, why would sending $500 be a problem?

i think the restrictions will start by 7th because of 7 day time. Lets wait and watch! It would be premature to say anything.

 

I guess [aypal is trying its best to cooperate with RBI and reduce the restrictions, since these restrictions would lower their income and business in india drastically.

 

@olddocks Thanks for reply, I think you are right, but how we can believe, is it safe to withdraw that amount to my bank? I am confuse can that amount will back reversal?
