Sounds to me like your gonna get some angry FBI guys after you if you get big.

When President Bush signs a law, the law was passed by our Congress which represents our people. When a foreign company attempts to help US citizens break US law they are getting legally involved, even though your not in US, there may be consequences to your activities.

We are not breaking a law, these cards can be used by anyone world wide -- the only exception the issuing bank makes is cannot fund terrorism or drugs.

Let's face it, their going to find a way if the want to.

I think the government did it to show the casinos they need to play ball with The Man. You want to run a casino in America, you need to pay taxes on the gambling.

I wouldn't be surprised if things switch very soon, new law passes to allow online casinos who'll do just that.

...they did this because the big US casinos where losing out on hundreds of millions of dollars to billions in gambling revenue from US citizens...and the US based casinos and their PAC's (political action committee's) donate millions to house and senate members.

I suspect next they'll "pay" for legislation that allows US citizens to gamble only at US online casinos -- and yes it will be taxed, but of course the real winners will be Caesar's, Bally's USA etc. This was never about protecting families from irrespossible betting.

Oh yea, and it is an election year and the republicans are appealing to their base -- right-wing conservatives who believe that gambling is wrong.

Only reason bush signed that law was due to the lobbying from casino owners and other rich folk in vegas and atlantic city etc etc and the few states that allow gambling and so the US gets all the tax revenue,

Company in the middle to process the payments = workaround to the new law. It's useless.

slava; it does seem like you have the best intentions in repeating what we (US schooled) were taught growing up...but do you really think congress represents what "THE PEOPLE" want?

I must add a bit of a disclaimer...I know that is how it is supposed to be, but the question is may be more suitably stated as; Do you think the Congress represents the US Populations ideology today?

    The new law is useless.

It prevents US companies from dealing with gambling firms, right? But there's nothing to stop someone signing up with a middleman and the middleman passing the payment to the gambling firm. The new law has just been worked around = useless.

Even if the new law is changed or ammended, it will still be possible to find a way around it to allow payments to other companies that will act as buffers between the law and the gambling companies.

I totally agree that ALL USA residents should be able to gamble online.. and yes it can be irresponsible BUT I beleive that should be the individuals choice.

Regardless of where the money comes from many reputable casinos will have many IP filters to avoid ANYONE from the US to gamble. Here's my latest article.. http://www.wagerx.com/articles/Port-Security-Bill-and-WagerX.htm

WagerX.com had to pay out and cancell all account.. We actually paid ALL bonuses regardless of the playthrough requirement. That hurt, but it was a graceful exit from the US market.

best of luck to you, but I think it's not going to be a solid future for you trying to push "anon" credit cards.

    best of luck to you.

the law will be amended, changed, or overturned after the election.

Can't you folks recognize politics as usual when you see it?

No wonder half our country doesn't vote. They haven't a clue what's going on.

There are simple services which allow people to connect to websites from 5-7different non-US servers. Take a look at www.findnot.com. They are a non-US firm that provides anonymous surfing.
