i wired by seeing one of my competitor. he had stuffed a particular keyword in his meta tags. he used single keyword in his entire metas. I dont know why google still rank this type of sites. It should be great help if they are bring new algorithm for this. What you think of it?
So the users can click on sponsored ads. Google doesn't want their organic results to be perfect, they want them to be just good enough, so those sponsored listings can get clicks.
Meta tags are hidden weapons which are normally used for this type of keyword stuffing,generally keyword stuffing in content is under considerations as spam but keywords stuffing in meta tags in not a major issue I think and as per my experience I personally analyzed lots of web sites and did seo for many and used to put keywords in meta tags by rotating them in different ways and got batter results and never got penalized by SE's.
I think you're right. Google need meta tags for it to know what ads to be placed there and what Paid results must be seen in SEL.
So this can be seen by placing few keywords too if this is the reason of keyword stuffing in meta tags.IMO meta tags are not used to target for paid ads and the reason is because not all the sites use to display Google ads and are not in GDN. Meta tags are simply primer indicators for the crawlers to tell that, what the hole page contains as the information in content.
The reason why Google does not like sites that are being keyword stuffed is coz those type of sites tend to rank quicker. More the keyword density it is better. And amen to that. Google should improve and i think they will in the future get rid of keyword stuffers too.
Meta keywords really aren't important anymore. They won't help you and I'm pretty sure they won't hurt you. Stuffing in content is still bad though.
