Hi I just moved to a my own apartment.. and feel kinda lonely.. thinking to get a Dog. but I need some advices. I can't spend much time for a Dog, and no time to train either. also don't want to mess up my place.. any idea what kinda dog should I buy ?
No not really. In fact likely to be more advantages than disadvantages, such as the dog is already trained, already has it's shots, already spayed/neutered. The only disadvantage I can think of is that the dog will have to learn new habits, and will have a shorter life span (in terms of how long you've personally owned the dog) than if you bought a puppy. If you're buying an adult dog I would suggest asking the owner if you can take it for a walk or spend a little time with it to see if it's the right one for you
I'm not very familiar with dogs, but I'd love to own a Siberian Husky. I heard they are extremely friendly dogs.
yeah, Labrador retrievers are a good option. I got one at home. That breed of dog is really sweet and they're not hard to teach.
Sorry to say Koala is you have no time to train dogs then please don't buy.coz buying a dog you need to take good care of it,train it and also take it out for walks or it will effect the dogs health. I'm saying this because I had Labrador as pet and remember dogs if not trained properly will make a mess out of everything
I am looking for a dog which can do both guard job and play with... no need to be friendly with everyone, and daschund is not really an option. Thinking to go for a German Shepherd, I found that they are good at guard job. any advices before buy one ? is it hard to taking care of this kind ?
I previously had a German Shepherd. It's a good breed, they can be fun to be with, playful and are extremely loyal. This however, doesn't come without any negatives. German Shepherds are one of the most dangerous breeds of dogs and can sometimes overpower a human being. I'd say think twice if you're planning on getting a German Shepherd and if you do, you'll have to train it very well.
Dogs are living things not machines,if you have not got much time to attend or look after a dog i would say forget about it,this is just my opinion of course, they take up alot of time to look after them and the thought of a GS is mind blowing and also a apartment is not the best enviroment for a big dog either as they have to go for long walks. I would suggest get one of these: rather than one of these:
