Dual content and warez will affect the Google trust. You might not get high places in SERPs

Stay away from warez. This is the best way to get banned by google next to black hat techniques.

There are a lot of hosts those strictly prohibit warez of any kind. Definitely stay away from them.

    Dear Friends,Thanks for answers.
But if you look at the name of the thread it is "Warez and SEO"
not "warez and webhosting" or " warez and ethic" or anything like that. :)

it should not be so difficut for google detect and ban website that has keywords, 90% of which are "Full, Fully cracked, cracked, keygen , patch" and so on. :)

What i want to know, have you ever seen any site, that was banned by google because of warez linking or hosting. ?

although google banned rapidshare and bittorrent from its autocomplate, but they still have a good page rank :)

    Rapidshare pagerank : 6
    bittorrent pagerank : 7

by the way, i dont have warez site and i am not even interested, but i want to publish an artice about this topic. that is the reason why i am asking.

They really just don't care. Their attitude is generally that it's not up to them to police their search results for copyright violations. Plenty of warez sites have been ranking for years.

The danger if you just casually get into warez is that if a company decides to send a cease and desist to your host and they catch you hosting warez they might just disable you altogether, then your search engine traffic is worthless. The warez sites that do well are using overseas hosts that are in business specifically to host warez.

I had a similar question, how about having a warez section inside your main forum, just 1 forum that is only accessible to members where they post / share various warez links from other sites ..
