Selecting a niche

    Hey guys, i am new in affiliate marketing.

    I am now searching for the niches. I am skeptical on each niche i select like weight loss, slow PC and dental health etc.
    Can you guys please help me what niche i should select.

    Is this a good niche

    Step 1. Visit amazon.com
    Step 2. Select any category and click it.
    Step 3. Select any subcategory and click it.
    Step 4. Select the product to promote.

    Sample: Sports & Outdoors > Golf > Golf Shoes

    Next steps:

    Step 1. Setup golf shoes associate store
    Step 2. Add banners (adsense, cj, etc.)
    Step 3. Promote your golf shoes store

    It's good to pick something that is a "buying keyword niche". So instead of "weight loss" choose something like "buy diet pills". I used to use a site called nicheideas.org but that is now going to autonicheincome.com which must be a new service coming out. But it showed you stuff like competition, search volume, etc.

    I believe like weight loss and slow PC are profitable niches. Though weight loss is a very competitive niche, you could target a special market (like weight loss after pregnancy) and rank well for your keywords.

    site for couple of months.
