I have an android, iphone and an old symbian phone, and my android is my daily favourite. Recently had a try of a wp7 phone and was surprised by how elegant the interface actually is. Unless they get developer traction though for a good range of apps they'll lag behind apple and google. No doubt we'll see some big advertising campaigns once the microsoft nokia merger has a solid range of products to sell.
You can check this video wherein these two are compared: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4gUnjFEFudw&feature=related
Better for what ? Android is free and people like it. At the same time it is getting hammered with spyware for its popularity. For all those who are using the Android Marketplace be careful of infected wallpapers and the mobile game called Robodefense. Windows Phone 7 is new. Is it better ? It is if you like gaming. They are hooked up with the Xbox in the mobile operating system so that you can see what your friends are doing with their Xbox. Nokia just got through joining up with Microsoft - and it still remains to be seen what will happen there. It will either kill Nokia or save them. As far as "more popular" - Symbian is still the most popular mobile operating system in the world. But.. it is on the decline. The free ( as in cost ) Android software is hard to pass up when there is a global economic crisis.
Spyware? You mean things like needing your location so Google Maps can locate you or functionality? If you want to call that "spyware" then bring it on. I just went through 5 pages of Google for that game and no one says anything about any issues you seem to be concerned about. Perhaps all this worry is you worrying and paranoia. In the meantime, Windows Mobile 7's browser is IE, the most virus infected browser on the planet. Is that better?
I've had a Windows mobile phone. Windows mobile is outdated, ignored by Microsoft, and has relatively few apps that are harder to find and obtain. Not much going for windows mobile.
Just had the chance to check Andriod, it's cool and very stable. Waiting to get my hands on a Windows 7 gadget to compare.
Nah, everything is fine here. Truth produces worry for those who have a problem with it. Sorry for the lack of relative searches in Google, here is a link for you : LINK This is InformationWeek, a respected website : LINK We are talking about mobile browsers, not PC's.
You are right about Windows Mobile. Up to version 6.5.3 it was/is outdated. It is why Microsoft replaced it to compete with Android or iOS. Windows Phone 7 is totally different.
Then speak the truth and not unusual circumstances. From your link: You also have to hold your right arm in the air and hop on one foot.
They ( truth and unusual circumstances ) are not mutually exclusive. But it does not end there : The name of the article is : "Revealed: Why Android beats iPhone for organized crime" Here is the link : LINK One of the above articles was written when Android only had 48,000 apps in the app store. Now they have around 190,000 or more. ...Or just download a bunch of Android apps... There are more than 200,000 new smartphones with Android coming online daily. I want to stop here... I do not want to give the bad folks any more ideas.
Android all the way for me just because it's google and they think outside the box, always innovating and if you use google products, the integration is seemless
That ignores the fact that you must allow the app to do that but I haven't read the article yet but an article about Android from 8 months ago can't be considered relevant today.
I'll definitely go with Android.. especially now that Microsoft is trying to get back all the phones with windows 7 OS..
