I need an advice. I found a warez site, which is full of child sex, abuse videos. All video files were stored in rapidshare. I sent a mail to rapidshare regarding this matter. They have deleted them this morning. But previews and snapshots are still in that warez site. This server is in russia. This is a newly registered site, no information is available in whois records. Who should I contact. Please advice me.
contacting rapidshare is the right thing to do...and you can look for the company that host the site and complain with email

Contact the web host, contact the domain registrant, contact the domain registrar, contact the domain registry, contact ICANN. find out if the images ar ehosted locally or remotely, if remotely contact host of who ever is hosting images. Contact any affiliates of the warez site and inform them of the content.
yes I would have to agree, when you read something like this you don't ask what URL is to be posted on a message board thats available to the public, point of this thread was to block illegal content not advertise it.
The FBI can have a site taken down which is hosted in Russia. Whether you are supposed to or not who knwos but they do. Russia owes us one anyways
WOW I’m really impressed about what happened. Just two hours ago I sent mails to the domain registrant, domain registrar, and icann. Looks like someone responded to my mail. Now the site is unavailable.
just follow the chain that I always follow: web host, domain registrant, domain registrar, domain registry, ICANN. Somebody will take care of it sooner or later.
hey search contact of russian police and also email them .. may be they can stop /block that site more promptly .
Contact anyone you can find relation to the site on, once you have done that just monitor it. Not really too much you can do if everything is in Russia.
You need to clear out your cache now. Simply visiting that site put all that illegal stuff on your computer, and if you get caught with it you can go to jail. It doesn't matter if you didn't mean to or if you only had good intentions, it's still illegal. You will probably only get caught if, during the course of the investigation into that site, they track you down to see why you were looking at a warez/cp site or if a friend/family member finds it and reports you, but you really don't need that crap polluting your comp anyway.
