    Yahoo answers is helpful for SEO. It is same as a forum posting, in yahoo answers you give your website link on your answer. So if any people can read your answer and he like your answer then he will definitely go on your website and its helpful to you and your website.

    Backlinks from Yahoo! answers are no follow in nature. So they only help in traffic, not in ranking.

    Yahoo answer doesn't have effect in the ranking but this can only be helpful when you gain traffic for your website. But when you just spam yahoo answer to gain traffic you will be banned.

    It doesn't really help that much with seo, but when someone finds your question/answer, he/she will go to the link provided in the answer, and you will get traffic. regards.

    You can give your link in your answers.When you answer for the questions the person will read your answer and view your link. Yahoo answer helps in increasing the traffic of your site.
