I did not have sufficient balance.

Paypal used all my balance and for the remainder, it charged my credit card.

I was under the impression that Paypal would use only my credit card for the transaction and not my Paypal balance.

If thats the case, then paypal havent still implemented the changes strictly. Technically as per compliance, all the amount should be charged to credit card. Just wait for 2-3 days and see!

 

Yes it is working for few a/c as they have accounts in blocks.....

 

I just made a transaction of $14 at 5.30 PM IST. Went smooth. I have no idea how its working.

 

Payment made successfully with paypal funds. However it sud not be possible with PP new guidelines, any1 try sending over 500$ Payment?

You probably forgot the PayPal reversals episode from last year. When payments made towards domain registrations or hosting or servers and other services are reversed, service providers have the right to recover any administration costs and other costs involved as a result of such reversals resulting in bigger loss. Both PayPal and the service provider will ask the buyer to look a the ToS and the loss has to be borne by the buyer mostly.

 

Maybe only for today, until it updates the system.

500$ limit they stated for receiving limit per transaction not for sending.

 

yes its sure the will block it soon. May be they are updating the system to track only indian users and block sending money via paypal balance. Just wondering about the withdrawal which is not 100% clear yet.

Paypal has allowed everything and restrictions has over.
Please don't mind its just my thought.

 

Due to all the scams and all other stuff happening here in India, RBI is tightening its screws on those who hide there money in offshore accounts.. But at the end of the day, we guys will suffer, every1 with power will go scot-free..
